Yes, you can collect as little or as much turf as you like from our yard based in Wolverhampton.
Please call our office on 01902 784866 before arriving as all turf is cut fresh to order.
Turf is palletised and delivered kerbside via our own dedicated drivers with a fork lift or a courier company with a pump truck.
We can only deliver kerbside and cannot lift over walls or fences. If there are any issues please call our team to discuss.
Turf must be inspected upon delivery and laid within 12 hours of receiving the goods, subject to adverse warm weather conditions which will reduce to 6 hours.
It is always best to lay your turf on the same day as it arrives, however in circumstances where it cannot be laid then it is best to unroll the turf onto a flat surface and water it well until you are able to lay it.
Firstly give us as much notice as possible by ringing our office.
If you call before 11am the day before expected arrival, we will be able amend the delivery date. If you call on the day of delivery your turf would have already been cut; therefore we will not be able to give you a refund and you will be charged again as turf will have been cut specifically to your order.
A roll of turf is equivalent to 1 SQM (65′ x 24′) The turf is approximately 20mm thick.
Unfortunatley we can only supply bulk bags of soil, weighing roughly 850kg.
No, all our deliveries are contactless, we do require a contact number for the driver to be able to call if needs be.
If you’re local to Wolverhampton, 74 rolls (approximately 74 square metres) can fit on a pallet. For deliveries further across the UK, 40 rolls (approximately 40 square metres) fit on a pallet. If you’d like clarification on your delivery, please call our office on 01902 784866
All our turf is freshly cut to your order.
If you have not informed us about any delivery obstructions and the driver attempts to make delivery but cant, the turf will be brought back to our yard and no refund will be given.
It is your responsibility to dispose of the pallet in the correct manner.
No. The delivery process is to kerbside only.
Although we cannot specify delivery times, if you have paid for AM delivery and a member of staff from our office has not contacted you to inform you of any issues please call 01902 784866 after 12 noon.
If you have not paid for AM delivery, your delivery slot will be anytime between 06:00-17:00. Again, if there are any issues with deliveries a member of staff will contact you.
You should saturate your turf in the mornings and evenings in the first few weeks and particularly in the summer months.
Yes you should.
Turf, like anything living, needs food. It helps it to grow strong and fight off diseases.
Wait for your lawn to root down into the ground (roughly in around 2 weeks). Next set your mower to the highest setting and simply mow off the top 25% only. As the turf gets more established then reduce the mowing height a bit at a time.
Unfortunately as the turf is perishable goods we do not take turf back or refund. Therefore it is important to ensure that you order as close to the right quantity as possible. If you need help with working out the amount you require please use the calculator on the home page or alternatively call the office on 01902 784866 where someone will be able to assist you.
All exisiting turf or debris needs to be removed before laying any new turf rolls. The ground must be prepped ready for delivery.
A turf roll can weigh 20kg – 25kg depending on the time of the year.
